The new Skoda Fabia Elegance has been launched with eminent features like McPherson suspension with lower triangular links and torsion stabilizer,Compound link crank-axle and a 1.4 PD TDI powerful engine delivering 69 PS power and 155 Nm torque for the small but smart car.The new fabia is a sign of deviation of Skoda Motors from luxurious models to compact,middle class cars to hold their position in Indian market where low cost cars rules.
Fabia must compete with Maruti Suzuki Swift and new Ritz as 3 of them has many similarities both fabia and Swift gives a distant similarity with BMW's mini Cooper .Eventhough Swift has more sporty appearance,the comfort and more space gives a hope to Skoda to sell their small car.
