Mercedes Benz has outdone other automakers again with the launch of another car in the Indian market. The Merc S- Guard armoured, bullet-proof car is is built on the S600 chassis.According to Mercedes, the S Guard follows a long and unique tradition of large, armoured, prestige limousines from Mercedes-Benz and encompasses cumulative experience of 80-plus years of manufacturing vehicles with factory-integrated special protection.
This latest addition from the German car major - Mercedes Benz comes with special protective features.The armor is designed to resist rifle-launched projectiles from military weapons, which have a velocity almost twice that of bullets fired from a revolver.The Merc S- Guard comes powered by a twelve-cylinder bi-turbo engine with a displacement of 5513 cubic centimetres and an output of 380 kW/517 hp with an impressive 830 Nm of torque.Mercedes Benz S-Guard is fitted with a 12 cylinder 5.5 cc petrol engine. Powered by a bi-turbo engine, this new limousine has a displacement of 5513cc and yields an output of 517hp and 830 Nm of torque.
