2010 SKODA YETI REVIEW

Yeti is a highly compact and muscular SUV from Skoda which has been first shown at Geneva Auto Expo in the year 2005. The new Yeti adds five doors and a simpler front end, with a traditional Skoda grille and spotlights. New Yeti will be on sale in 2-3 months. Yeti has been good in its off-road ability, luggage space, safety and great road holding.

Skoda Yeti Interiors

Yeti's back seats slide to change the balance between boot and passenger space, and the high seating position and deep footwell provide more space than we expecting. Its rear seats can be folded and tilted right forward, and even remove to maximise cargo space. An optional sunroof is also there which opens up the whole of the roof of the Yeti to the sky. Yeti's luggage holding capacity is impressive and a maximum compartment volume of 1,760 liters is available by removing the rear seats.

Skoda Yeti Handling

Yeti;s 4×4 variants are characterized by outstanding off-road ability and excellent traction control with low emission values and fuel consumption. Most of the time any Yeti sticks with front-wheel-drive, but on wet, hard and muddy surfaces the rear wheels are automatically engaged on four-wheel-drive models.

Yeti is available in two petrol engines choices and three diesel choices. The petrol engine has four cylinders with 1.2 litre capacity that delivers 103 hp, while the top one has a 2.0l TDI CR with 167 hp. It has a topspeed of 200 km/hr.
